The client for this identity project was Matrix Design Group, Inc. The design process began soon after the company's key product was approved for use in underground mining operations by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA).

There were no preexisinting brand guidelines or identity materials. The challenge was to develop a corporate logo, product brand mark, and design marketing literature in time to meet short product launch deadlines.

The task for Smithhart Brothers was to develop a logo for a custom automotive shop. Along with the logo, designs for various marketing materials utilizing the mark were also needed.

After discussions with the client it was evident that the re-statement of the business name in the logo was important in maintaining a relationship with their existing customers as well as reaching new ones.

The Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame needed graphics for an HD monitor outside the entrance of their movie theater. The goal was to provide typography and imagery that visually connected to existing environmental signage and exhibit designs as well as provide clear information for visitors.

Inspiration was drawn from the existing interior elements which focused on the rich history and culture of the Cincinnati Reds and Major League Baseball.

The objective of this brochure design was to increase awareness and grow membership for a non-profit organization. West Kentucky Audubon Agritourism Inc. was composed of small business owners that formally incorporated to seek grant funding from county and state governments.

Visual inspiration was drawn from organic elements found in the environments of the businesses themselves. Kellen Creative also developed all copy for the brochure and the logo mark for the organization. The brochure was distributed at regional Cooperative Extension Offices and educational outreach meetings.
